Amanda Loviza
Amanda Loviza, 20, is in her third year at Western Kentucky University double majoring in news/editorial journalism and Spanish. Although she spent her childhood in five different states, she considers her hometown to be Midlothian, Va. Loviza has been a staff writer and photographer for her Honors College newsletter for two years, and she looks forward to beginning an internship with V!VA Travel Guides this fall while she is studying in Quito, Ecuador. Her love of foreign cultures, especially Hispanic, drove her to sign up for this class. After weeks of knocking on the door of nearly every immigrant business owner in Bowling Green, Loviza is pretty sure that now they all run the opposite direction when they see her coming.
