Sam Oldenburg

Sam Oldenburg is a first year student at Western Kentucky University.  A native of Minnesota, Sam was attracted to Western because of the quality of its photojournalism program. He enjoys telling the stories of all people through the many platforms journalism is presented in.  Sam works as a staff photographer for the Talisman, Western’s yearbook, and as a publicist with the Honors College at WKU, providing multimedia content used in efforts to recruit students.  Sam has also worked as a balloon artist under the name “Zippy the Clown.”
